I have LPG fitted to my last four surveillance vehicles. The current one has cost me just on $5000 for a dual 65 ltr tank, it is registered under the company so I don't qualify for the rebate, its up to my accountant to work out the depreciation as that is what I pay him for. I have been very happy with all vehicles and I just fill up and go. I don't worry about the calculation and differences as long as I have a reliable comfortable vehicle, it will earn me dollars and pay for itself.

Isnt petrol just crazy??? I just heard on the news, predictions it will go to 8$ a litre within a decade (CSIRO). I have a commodore, definatly looking at something smaller. It has served me well, but have no idea what i am going to be going to next....

MY biggest regret coming back to Australia after several years in the Middle East..the price of petrol. Over there I paid about 13-15cents (au) a litre and that was without a Coles/Woolies discount!!!

The new breed of diesel hatchbacks and sedans is starting to look ideal.
