The latest book Surveillance Tradecraft had been released by Peter Jenkins. This is his third book and a totally revised from his previous publications.

The book has answers to many of the questions students are putting up on the forum, such as "what do I wear on surveillance" and "what type of car suits surveillance".

This post is not meant to be an advert for the book however I feel a plug is worth it as it a well written reference manual for the surveillance industry and many students will benefit from having a read.

Only 2 days ago I received an email from amazon.co.uk that it is now available and have placed my order.  :D

I have to say that, until now, the 2nd ed was probably my favourite book in my library although I am also quite fond of the 2 books by ACM IV Security Services ("A Professional's Guide to Tailing Subjects by Vehicle, Foot, Airplane and Public Transportation" and "Surveillance Countermeasures: A Serious Guide to Detecting, Evading and Eluding Threats to Personal Privacy") despite their long-winded titles.

Update
The book arrived today. Only had had a quick glance through it but it certainly seems jam-packed with information. There is some repetition from the previous edition, which is to be expected, but there is a hell of a lot of new material as well.
