I am hooked on the TV programme REPO and we do not have a recorder, so I have to stay up late to 'get my fix'. Matt uses that pepper spray in a blink of an eye AND it seems in the U.S. of A. they can also carry a 'taser'. I can just imagine the Repos in Australia using them, or even carrying both on their person. They would be arrested for sure. Last night was interesting because they repoed a BMW from a P.I.
Does anyone else watch it because if you don't take it too seriously, it is good for a laugh. And thank goodness the 'beep' button works.

I love these kinds of shows Lesley because they show us how not to do things.. take Byran McElderry for example, a process server in New York (supposedly). He's an absolute lunatic, but funny to watch.

He is excellent. I love it when he says in a deep, deep voice, "Wow, that is unacceptable. Why DID you do that"? Personally I think he hams it up a bit don't you? And yes, it is moronic television at it's best, but very entertaining.

Definitely a "what not to do guide" - or a "how to incite a subject to get a dramatic response - guaranteed to increase ratings".

'Operation Repo' is dramatized rather than the actual events and I have my doubts about 'All Worked Up' as well from the few episodes I've seen.
One show that I quite enjoyed, but can't remember the name of, followed some US Marshalls and a couple of Bail Enforcement Agents as they sought and apprehended wanted fugitives. The Marshalls at least routinely would conduct surveillance on possible addresses as opposed to the Bounty Hunters. Quite different work methodologies and approaches.
