People Finder/Skip Tracer required, conversant with all aspects of finding someone in Australia, adoption searches to fresh skips, prefer experience with one of the larger Australian investigation companies or corporate experience with bank, credit provider etc as a skip tracer. Access to online tools required, industry contacts an advantage. YOU MUST HAVE PI LICENSE, ANY STATE. Newbies who have undergone further training are welcome to apply. Training is available if you don't have experience in this field. Piece work only, sub contract. With deference to the previous advertiser preferring young people, age and experience are preferred over familiarity with scocial media, this is not a significant tool to find people in Australia, contacts in the right places are. Payment rate by negotiation, email ONLY please, PM not acknowledged, include resume and landline contact. Added 28/01/2012, I want quality sub-contractors, not those who show they are unsuitable from their first communication by addressing a prospective employer as Hey there, or ignoring request for resume and landline contact. If you couldn't use initiative to obtain an email address from the website link, you definitely can't manage to get the results I want. If you are capable, communicate, listen to constructive criticism of your search logs, then here is an opportunity to earn well above the usual hourly rate.

Hey there,

What's your e-mail address?  I work for a large company, former field PI, process server, repossessions agent, now in the office doing investigations co-ordination and skip traces for large collection firm clients.  I have about a 75% positive location record this year nationally, with a higher rate in NSW.  I have gone casual recently due to going back to university and am interested in doing some work for you.

regards,

Michael

Thank you for that Michael

If you address people as 'Hey there' I can't imagine letting you loose with sensitive files
See if they will teach you some basic manners while you are at university

Was there really any need for that reply?

I don't know Michael from a bar of Soap but I didn't think his reply was at all unprofessional, just casual and friendly.

Agreed Lex.
Do what you have always done, you will get what you have always gotten.

Definitely agreed! Bit harsh there! How can you determine how good a person can be if you judge them by what they say in an open forum? If you wanted people to work for you then you pretty much just shut yourself down.

Hey there - how about spelling the word 'social' properly in your ad. See if you can find some basic manners and learn how to spell while you are trying to find someone to work for you.

My grandfather, God bless his soul, used to say "watch out for narcissists". For years I used to think he means Nazis!

OK, so watch out for narcissists.

Hey there everyone!

First of all I would just like to thank those who have pointed out that there is nothing wrong with "hey there" and essentially for sticking up for me.  A casual and friendly approach is better than a fake, tough guy who can't spell approach. With an attitude like yours kotemaori, I can imagine how quickly a debtor hangs up the phone on you.  No wonder you need people to do your skip tracing for you, chances are you can't do it yourself because you're simply not very good at it.  But you look like a good salesman from your picture, so that's all that matters.  ;D

At the end of the day, I am the best at what I do and I wouldn't work for you for $1000.00 an hour, but maybe for $2000.00/hr if you're still interested? I guarantee that my laid back attitude will only result in locating debtors and not revealing your supposedly "sensitive" information  :o

While I am here, if anybody is based in Sydney and licensed for Process Serving, please send me a PM. Looking for someone to cover the North Parramatta areas.

Regards,

Michael

I don't think "Hey there" was unprofessional, but it is worth noting Kotemaori's posting does include a web site which has contact details so it could possibly be argued MichaelW should not have needed to ask for e-mail details ...

It could not be argued because he asked specifically for e-mail only and his website only has a direct contact form and phone number, absent of any e-mail address noted.  I checked and hence why I wrote the message on here.

Well it has been a while since I posted on the Forum and my intention is to be more pro active with comments and points of interest relating to Investigation topics.  THere never seems to be enough hours in each day.

What prompted me to reply on this topic is what I consider to be unnecessary comments being made in this forum discussion board.  We all have our views about other persons and investigators but please remember that this Forum is the first port of call for many new investigators.

When they see comments going backwards and forwards like this it leaves a sour taste in their mouth and serves no useful purpose in the big picture.

What I do not want to see is this profession being dragged down into the dirt as it has taken many years to bring it back to the professional level it is considered now.  I will do everything to promote our profession and should warn that some investigators in the past have commenced legal action due to unsavoury comments being made about then personally or the way they conduct their business.

I have heard very good reports about Kotemaori and I have also heard good feedback about Michael W who seem to have the differences of opinion.  As professionals I think we need to wrap this up and if you have issues then Private Message each other to sort it out.  Many of us want to move forward as investigators and this type of discussion does not benefit anyone.

Lets make sure that new investigators see the industry for what it is, a true profession with high ethical values and a strong focus on helping each other.
