LAWMATE Equipment

Hello, I am just getting my equipment together in Perth after completing Cert 111. I use Apple Computers and it seems that they are not very compatible with the Key Chain Covert Camera from Lawmate. Does anyone out there use Apple and had any experiences with this issue?
Any way around it I would be grateful, or could anyone suggest an alternative brand.

Hi HRG it seems no one is bothering to answer your question and as i have not used an Apple computer i might not be of any help to you at all, but we Sandgropers need to stick together.
I use a lawmate pv 900 as well as a couple of cheap key ring cameras(from ebay) they all work fine with my old HP and new Samsung laptops, should just be plug and play.
So what is the " issue " you are having with the Apple.

I'd guess the problem is the video produced by the device can't natively be played on your Apple, is that it? If so, try two programs - Handbrake http://http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php lets you convert media across various formats, and VideoLan http://http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html will play most any format.

I use both the PV500 and 900 and download straight to my DVD hardrive I havent downloaded to a comp for years asi found I was spending too much unpaid time doing everything on a computer.

What do you use the PV 500/900 for? As they are not Covert, cheers HRG
