I've just bought what Farnsworth mentioned, a Chery J11, but I have not tried it out on the job yet as I have just got my PI licence (YAY). It's fine so far but we'll see. I can be the test rabbit for the Chery lol

It seems fine so far, I have only had it a few days. The turning circle seems good, not heavy with steering, you can raise and lower the headlights (handy for night follows), full size spare tyre, leather seats, decent room in the back and a power socket in the back too. I have found it to be a comfy drive.

As for how it goes under a heavier foot than what I'm giving it at the moment...I'll let you know in a few days as I'm still getting used to it.

It will be a lot better than my other car, a red Hyundai Accent hatch with peeling paint and a buggered clutch (not to mention it's other annoyances) ha ha

2010 silver Hyundai i30 .  Turbo Diesel , cheap as chips to run and plenty of them on the road at the moment so easy to blend in.
