I'm a rather bewhiskered fellow. Changing a jacket or a hat isn't a problem at all, but how would I go about disguising that, should it be necessary?

Are there tricks to avoid needing to shave?

My girlfriend threatened to not have sex with me if I shave, until I grew it back. I'd really rather avoid shaving. I am interested in Factual Investigations moreso than Surveillance, so this shouldn't be an issue in the long term should it?

If you expect to work primarily in factual investigation then masking your appearance certainly isn't a concern, from the onset you're being "burned" so to speak because right away you are (correctly) identifying yourself as an Investigator and stating your name and then spending even up to hours and hours with someone.

As to hiding a beard, I suppose it depends how prominent yours is, but different shirts in a variety of types and colours as well as headwear and glasses could possibly go a long way to making you look sufficiently different each time, particularly if you are a distance away and the beard can blend in with dark clothing.

In most cases people get noticed by two things and they are what they wear and what they do, more then what they look like face wise. Next time you walk down a street look at people and think what it is that you notice about them and you will be surprised at the result.

It is more about blending in and not being over noticed and some things that might help this is they way you dress in normal non descriptive colours. trying keeping to your blacks, whites, greys and blues.

LOL before you posted the pic I had envisaged you with a full on ZZ Top beard. Or mutton chops or a huge Merv mo or something similar.

The beard you have isn't enough to stand out on its own, so I wouldnt sweat it. Just changing your clothing and accessories, hat, scarves, different colours, glasses etc like others have said should be enough to transform in your case.

I reckon your sex life is going to remain intact, which was your real concern all along wasnt it

Cheers
