Apart from the Yellow Pages or electoral role, what other mothods can be used to locate home addresses? One investigator mentioned to me that the Freedom of Information Act can be used to track/trace "anyone who has paid a phone bill", but I am not sure about that or how/where the information would be held or accessed.

That sounds extremely unlikely re FOI. I used to work for Telstra as FOI Officer.

Hello Nighttimer

Your investigator friend will certainly get you into trouble if you are not careful.   Of course it is not available.  If it was, I would have taken advantage of it myself.

This annoys me no end (I confess I have a very short fuse when it comes to perople not telling the truth) that someone out there who is licensed, is telling you stories.  Maybe they are hoping you will try it out, lose your license and then there is one less investigator out there taking 'their' work.

When I retire, I shall write a book and expose all the scams, the crooks (within the profession), the smoke and mirrors that are constantly being used for the sake of confusing others, etc. etc.  In the meantime I am going to pursue the idea of becoming a trainer re Locating People.   Nothing held back.  My first task is to catch up with Adrian and put it to him

If you want someone traced, just send me a PM, also set out the reason why you want them traced and I shall do it for you for a minimal fee (BG I am not advertising).  I will charge you, but it will be done professionally, legally and safely.

It's the only way.

Far be it from me to suggest you are advertising here! Of course I'd have no objection at all because I know you are a true pro and your contributions are always wise and realistic.

And speaking of which, do you want me to have a word with Adrian about your ambition?

Well yes please, because I lectured in China for 9 months on Business Methodology and during that time my largest audience was 400 people, so to speak with a group of 10 - 20 would be wonderful.

It would be great if at the very least, I could put my plan forward to him.  He can only say no, but one thing about Adrian, he listens (if one can catch him that is).

Thanks BG

Catzeyes, I am sure I'm not the only one who would love to attend any investigation workshop you would run.

Please put my name down for the first class :)
